Well Spring Break has come and gone it sure wasn't long enough! We didn't do as much as we wanted to but we did get in a round of Mini Golf and a trip to the coast. Rylee loves to go play mini golf! It is so funny to watch her chase the ball around until she gets it in the hole. The kids all had fun with it and Daddy was getting into it to. Yesterday we headed out to go to the coast. On the way over we had rain and hail but it cleared up when we got over there and we had a nice sunny day! The wind was very strong when we were at Yaquina Head but it made for some fun pictures. We hit up the tide pools and walked around on the rocks. The kids wanted to go inside the Lighthouse but it wasn't open yet so we decided to leave and come back later. When it was time for lunch we realized that the picnic lunch wasn't going to work with all the wind so we decided to head to Mo's. After lunch and a few other stops we headed back to Yaquina Head to see if we could get into the lighthouse. When we got there the lighthouse was open. Baily and Rylee were so excited they were tall enough to make the trip up the 110 stairs to the top of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. We then went to have some fun on the beach. We knew couldn't come to the beach without taking the kids to see the seals down at the Newport Bay Front! Rylee said that was her favorite part was seeing the seals she was so excited! It was a great family day! We love to spend time at the coast! I think Ben would like to live over there but for right now I think we need to stay where we are :) But it is great to be able to spend time at the beach.

Boys will Be Boys!

I think she is regretting her desision to tell Chance!

While walking to the school yesterday Rylee and I saw a snake. She was thinking it was kinda neat because it wasn't moving. Well today it was still there in the same general area. very strange that it would still be hanging around! So Rylee had to show her brother. I think she is now thinking that was the wrong thing to do :) Chance started moving it around because he wanted to pick it up. I don't think it was to happy with him because it kept opening its mouth in defense. Rylee was freaked out she liked it when it wasn't moving but with it out moving around she didn't like it one bit :) Chance thinks maybe there is babies around there and maybe that is why it is still around and being so defensive. Who knows but playing with snakes is something all boys (except Chase who hates snakes) have to do! Oh the JOYS of Boys!!!

Spring Fever!

Ok I admit I think I have a bad case!! A bad case of Spring fever that is :) We have really been enjoying the sunshine! Walks outside, basketball, riding bikes and the bulbs that are coming up are so refreshing!!! When we moved in last July I couldn't wait until spring so I could see what bulbs were planted at the new house. I am seeing crocus, daffodils and tulips so far and I am loving it! Such a great thing to see, it makes me want Spring to come that much more. Bring on the warmer weather :)

Snowflakes

I know I have been a little Ok a lot flaky :) I will try to stay on this and keep up with the updates on a regular bases! Have you ever seen a snowflake close up? I know when we make snowflakes we fold a piece of paper and then cut pieces out to make a shape that is uniform right? Well I don't think I had ever seen a snowflake up close until yesterday when I went to take the boys to school. I went to get in the car and it was snowing tiny flakes. On the hood of the car I say these tiny little perfect snowflakes. You know just like the ones we make :) They were perfectly uniform I was amazed and so were the kids. Ok maybe you have seen this before, but I hadn't and I loved it! It is just another thing that shows me that there is a God!!! I do not believe that snowflakes as perfect as they are could just happen! What a amazing God we have!
