Thankful

I was just sitting here thinking about building a fire and I got to thinking about how thankful I am. I am thankful that we are in a house that doesn't always feel cold even when the thermostat says it is 68 degrees :) I am thankful that we have a house that has a fireplace so we can save on heating this winter and be really really warm. I am thankful to Jenn's dad who gave us wood to use this winter to help us out. What a blessing he is! I am thankful that I have a wonderful hubby who loves me very much. I am thankful for my 4 healthy children. I am Thankful for all the ways God is providing for us. I am thankful for so many more but that is a few things that I have really been thinking about lately. What are you thankful for?

Rylee's Bike

So when Rylee was asked what she wanted for her birthday she said " A big girl bike like Oni" (Oni is her friend next door). So we have been on a look out for a bike for her. I was looking for a 12" but with no luck unless I bought it new. So when my friend Jenn called and said she found a Princess bike for really cheap at Goodwill I said get it!! It turns out it is a 16" but it seems to fit her great! So I am glad I never found a 12" She spent all evening riding it all over. When we got home from taking the boys to school it was sprinkling and she flipped a lid because her bike was getting wet :) So mommy came to the rescue and put it in the garage! First thing this after getting dressed she asked if it was still raining because she wanted to go ride! She LOVES it! She is really growing up. I think in just a short time she will be riding without training wheels just like her brothers :)

Justin is a Daddy!

The Girls!

The Boys!

Wow 12 babies! Just a few minutes old!

DOG PILE!

Stormy is such a good mama!

I am so excited to let everyone know that my male mastiff CH Wynwoods BS Justin Time CGC is now the proud daddy to 12 new babies (3 girls and 9 boys)!! They were born on October 8th at about 10:00pm to mama CH Marcy Mtn's Thunder of Legend ( Stormy). I went up to Bremerton Washington to help the first few days with the puppies I got there about 8:00 pm on the 8th and we figured out she was in labor so off to the vet we went for the cesarean. Mastiff usually have a cesarean due to the probably of losing puppies with the breed. All the puppies were born alive and well. I stayed until Sunday to help because I had taken care for new mastiff puppies before so I "kinda" new what I was doing. It was so much work but it is so rewarding! I guess we are now Grandparents :) Enjoy the pics!

My Baily Bug is 7!!!!

I did it all by myself! I am on top of the world!

My little man turned 7 on October 9th! He is so amazing I love him so much and life would not be complete without him :) He is my comedian he is always making me laugh. If I am upset he gets upset, he is my snuggle bug and I enjoy it sooo much. I love how creative he is and how his imagination runs wild. His latest statement around here is " I am a forget monster" One day I had realized that he hadn't done something I asked him to do and the conversation went something like this..

M: Baily you haven't put your clothes away.

B: Oh man I am such a Forget Monster

M: Well you better stop being a Forget Monster.

B: Mom once you are a Forget Monster you can never go back!

M: (Giggle) Oh really! Then I guess I should become a Forget Monster too :)

He just cracks me up!

Baily I am so proud of you and I can't wait to see what this next year will bring!

Happy Birthday Baily Bug!

We are finally done with the week of birthdays!!!!

Silly Girl!

So at dinner last night we were pretty much all done and Ben was walking out of the kitchen and he saw Rylee like this! LOL Of course the normal reaction of a parent who does scrapbooking is get the camera. But in this case I didn't have to say anything Daddy did all the work :) He got the camera before I even realized what she was doing. So after pictures were taken Daddy let her know that it is not polite to have our feet on the table and she needed to put her feet down :) I guess Ben has been well trained from a scrapbooker :)

Smores Anyone?

So we started a new thing at our house last night... We were going to do it on the 5th for Chance's birthday but it was to late when we got home from pizza. So last night we built a fire laid down a blanket (protecting the floor) and did Smores in the house! The kids thought it was great and it was alot of fun watching them. ( I loved the sticky faces) I think this is going to be a new tradition in our house! I love making new traditions and memories along the way! What new traditions have you started lately?

Are you ready for some Football???

Chance is at the right side of the pile! You can see his mean face LOL

On top of the pile works too! Not as painful as the bottom.

Chance decided to do Pop Warner Football this year. It is his first year and at first he wasn't sure but I think it is growing on him now. LOL He is getting better every practice and every game. He was really afraid of tackling and being tackled but he is now getting in on the action. He is playing Left Defensive tackle (he is #34) :), kinda funny with him so skinny but it is a safe place for him to get comfortable with the game. He doesn't have as many chances for someone to come at him full speed. They have a pretty good team this year and they are playing well together. So far they have had 4 shut outs. Yesterday the head coach was gone and he told the boys that if they held the Giants to 0 points he would take them out for ice cream. ( I don't think he was planning on that happening, but it did so coach is going to have alot of ice cream to buy ) It was a great game I would say a very defensive game. Our friends came to watch the game so we got to see Brooke and John the little ones were excited to play with Riah and Emma. They came to the game not only because Chance was playing but there neighbors son Nathaniel was playing on the Giants team. So they got to watch both boys play at one game! Talk about killing two birds with one stone, I think it worked out great! I love watching Chance play it makes me think about High School, and watching my brother play football for CV. Such fun times!

I can't believe he is 11!

It is a day late but we had a busy day yesterday with football! Better late then never :)
Chance is 11! Wow I can't believe how fast he is growing. It seems like just yesterday he was a toddler now he is so different, so grown up. He is so stinkin smart it drives me crazy at times. He corrects me at least once a day :) He is having a fun with his first year in Pop Warner Football. But I can save that for my next post :) Chance is such a great big brother he plays so well with Rylee and she just loves her big brother so much! I love watching them interact. The other day she was following him around just wanting to hang out with him, it was so cute she really looks up to him. I remember a couple years ago when we were driving in the car and KLOVE was on and I kept hearing something in the back seat, come to find out it was Chance signing along to KLOVE! Talk about make my heart melt I love hearing him sign such great songs. I find him changing any radio to KLOVE it doesn't matter where we are and boy do I LOVE it! He may drive me crazy at times with his temper but he can be so sweet at the same time. He is still my cuddler, and I hope that doesn't change :) I love seeing him grow into a young man but he is always going to be my little boy. I love you Chance! Happy Birthday!

Chase

Looks like fun right?

Day 1

Day 4 gap just starting :)

Day 7 Look at that gap :)

Day 7

Chase has alot going on in his mouth! LOL Last Wednesday he got a rapid pallet expander put in. He has a very narrow pallet and has no room for his teeth. So every morning and every night we the parents get to turn the key to widen his pallet. I was saying it was a torture device and it was legal LOL the ortho said I get to torture him twice everyday. It sounds painful and the first day or so he was uncomfortable he felt pressure and it was a adjustment getting used to this thing in his mouth. But now it has been a week and it is no big deal! He doesn't complain and it is painless!! I was so excited to hear after two days that yes he felt pressure but it was only a couple minutes, and now there is really no pressure he says it is easy :) I am really surprised how fast this thing works and it has only been a week! I am looking forward to his speech improving with the wider pallet he will be able to speak clearer :) I am so glad it doesn't hurt anymore. I really didn't enjoy the fact that I was making him uncomfortable, even if he does think I did enjoy it.
